Ice Hockey in West Australia

We're planning on moving back to Perth later this year, having been back in Scotland for the last 4 years. Since we've been back here my kids (boy and girl) have taken up ice hockey and play at a fairly decent level.
I know that Perth has 3 rinks and appears to have a junior setup out of each rink.
Anyone on here involved with Ice Hockey in WA that can answer a few questions I have? I have looked at the websites, but am not sure how up to date they are.

The main team is Perth Thunder who play in the AIHL. I'd say their level,is similar to that of our sub EPL leagues, maybe even around national 2 level.

Not sure about recreational hockey, but I'm certain the Perth Thunder facebook page or website could be a good place to ask
