2014 RRS Headlights Abroad

Just been to France in my 6 month old RRS (standard headlights - no High Beam Assist) before leaving the UK I checked the handbook which says:

HEADLAMPS - DRIVING ABROAD
The headlamps have a beam pattern that eliminates the need to mechanically adjust the lamps or add any external stick-on decals

I had a 10 hour drive to the alps through the night - If i'd had a pound for every oncoming vehicle that flashed me i'd not be at work today!!

Is there a fault with my car? Anyone else had this experience?

Just replied to your other thread but I think there's an option to set within the setup pages you access through the dashboard display.
