Has anyone clicked on a banner advert etc on PH?

Just doing a mini survey. Personally, I don't even notice advertising but clearly it must work as companies are doing it......

I find most advertising just plain intrusive, which I guess is because most advertising doesn't grab your attention?

I never click on advert banners. I was browsing the PH classifieds the other day and this annoying advert kept moving down the page as I scrolled. I found it that intrusive that I closed the site and went on autotrader.

I block them on the laptop but if on the tablet/phone then I have clicked them by accident but only because they suddenly expand and take up half the screen! Every time I tell myself I specifically won't buy from that company ever again, problem is I can't actually remember what those companies were.

They do put me off browsing on a mobile device, I need to be exceedingly bored to be willing to put up with them.

In short: no.

PH ads is the sole reason I got Adblock plus and Ghostery.
No problem anymore

I have clicked on the odd one by accident when it's paused. Haven't found anything very interesting.

My iPad comes up with "Safari cannot download this file". For both these programs. Has someone got wise to them and blocking our attempt to block the ads?

no i lothe adds taking up space on pages I AM PAYING to view.

if i want a product i will look for it i do now want google analytics
suggesting crap i dont want with bandwidth i pay to use.

I used to allow ads from pH but they took the piss that much iv blocked the lot.

All blocked now but early days years ago, I clicked on City Powder Coaters... glad I did.
