I initiated the deal with PH as I have been a member since I had my first TVR over a decade ago and have always got a lot out of reading the forums and news. Genuinely, I really thought I could bring something to the community, namely the cheapest place that the community can buy tyres...

To that end we set up the thread under general gassing and I have been speaking with members ever day since trying to source hard to find tyres and trying to beat the best prices that can found online through issuing discount codes to let my site under cut the rest... Sold quite a few tyres and if you go check http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... you will see some pretty positive feedback from members who have tried us out.

Marketing gimmick? Not really...
Do I make money selling tyres? yep.
Do Pistonheads/Haymarket make money when I sell a tyre? yep (but not much)
do we have 16000 tyres in stock with over 1000 fitters nationwide? yep
Are we actually pretty good? yep
Will I beat any price you can find online? Yep
Is this tyre business owned by a dyed in the wool car fanatic who loves PH - YEP!

Seems like a winner all round really Try me - whats your preferred rubber?
