After seeing a load of these on pistonheads recently i thought i would start my own thread on the one we bought last year. After getting married in June we decided that we should purchase a fun car for a while before we settle down and have kids. We started looking at 911's and boxsters after viewing a couple we were ready to take the plunge on a mk2 boster s. However we both worked for BMW and i saw this come up for sale. A lovely example with low mileage only just under 30k on the clock. A quick deal was done and the car was ours...!! It is beautiful in my opinion one of the nicest colour combos i have seen on these cars. Midnight blue with champagne individual leather. The car also benefitted with a Stromung back box, 19" CSL wheels and a RPi cold air intake and K & N panel filter. After 6 months of ownership and 3k miles the car has been absolutely fantastic. She sounds amazing with the exhaust and it never ceases to make me smile. The throttle response and steering feel are better than any new cars today it just feels alive.

As for plans with the car. Not a lot at the moment it hasnt missed a beat since we have had it. Feels well screwed together still. It is going on a euro road trip in the summer and i have just booked a track day starter lesson for the mrs in it. Other than that we are totally happy with it.

Now for some pictures we have taken over the last few months.

Looks ace. If I was ever to move up from my E36 M3 these would be the obvious choice.

Are you still working for BMW? If so, please can you tell that to the chaps responsible for BMW design and get them to do something about the current models? wink I jest, but wouldn't it be nice if all BMWs responded as fantastically as the Z4-M? Beautiful example you've got there by the way.

Sadly or not im not working for BMW anymore moved to talian exotics now.!!! Dispite getting to drive some of these the M still feels real special. Tintopracer do you race an MX5 by chance what car where you in at Costa. Parents live in Dorridge so im over there a lot in the car when im allowed a drive.!!!

Funny when the Mrs drives the car she doesnt look like a typical M driver but enjoys emabarassing young boy racers tho. She has here first track day in it soon. So watch out

Fantastic car - congratulations!
Bought myself a Z4C last year after drooling over them for years and am loving it, but am starting to get used to it and the inevitable train of thought is "I wonder what the M version is like"........idea
