Lancia Thema 8.32: PH Ad Break
Lancia by Ferrari! Marvellous period film of everyone's favourite forgotten fast saloon
A Ferrari engine in a dowdy Lancia saloon is arguably the finest representation of the Q-car breed. And this advert promo plays to its strengths: the 'by Ferrari' bit (look everyone, Stratos rallying footage), some V8 engine noise (very nice) and, of course, that spoiler. So good it's shown rising proudly from the boot twice.
See also our dedicated Italian craftsman beautifully assembling the Thema's interior. Hand-stitched leather gearknob? But of course. All interspersed with emotive footage of an 8.32 in the Italian countryside, gracefully covering miles in a very dignified and refined manner. The PHer's dolce vita. Does look rather nice, doesn't it? Cleverly filmed from a distance at most points...
It's never been a pretty car, the Thema 8.32, but it is a rather desirable one. There's even some actual speed and noise depicted in this advert, for old time's sake.

More worryingly... what was used as camera lense in the making of this video?
A bottle of white wine?

Has anyone on here driven one (stupid question), are they actually any good?
Chasing JAYB while he was in his Mondial and my Dad was in his Sud Sprint has stayed with me ever since

What's the guess to recommission lightly assuming no issues-on a Lancia that's stood still for a decade..? £10k? or with issues hmm, multiply by 2 or 3?
