Haynes Motor Museum - monthly meet. 1st Sun of Month

It's a car meet with a long fairly quiet straight road outside it with a 90deg corner on exit, there will be a spot of wheel spin and 1st/2nd gear pulls.

As long as it's not as idiotic as some meets I've been too, with 2 hot hatches racing up and down, overtaking etc, it will be fine.

I'm no expert but I'm 99% sure it was the '34 Ford Coupe.

Shame about that accident (although I didn't see it), I was actually thinking about how it seemed like a decent place for the usual car-meet exit exuberance given how straight and quiet the road is.

Sadly you always get some knob spoils things by showing off. I remember the original Pistonheads meets at Virginia Water, after a while the police used to turn up because of knobs generally being idiots on the A30.

The entertainment began at 11. We were going to head off, but its only human nature to rubber neck when this sort of thing happens.

This is why I never bother hooning it off from this kind of thing.

1: thr engine is cold

2: Potential to look silly.

hope the drivers pride returns and the car can be repaired. Does anyone have a photo of thr car in question before the accident

Fence damage obscured by vehicle being recovered. Granted it didn't go all the way through, but part of it was taking advantage of the field and the barbed wire.

Nah, nothing like that. I really didn't want to exaggerate it. The most alarming thing about it is that he could have gone right rather left and stuffed in to the front of some poor innocent bugger coming the other way.
He has few quid to find to put it right and he will probably not hear the last of it from his mates. No real harm done,not really.

I'm going to be there will aiming for 9am rather than 11am as i missed loads at the march meet.

hopefully I will get the V5C (so I can have REG plates made!) for the Genesis this week so I can actually drive it. If not I will drive the 182.
