A question if you don't mind about importing. I ordered two HSV I want one stickers and a cd case from HSV. The post office want £14.29 including an £8 handling fee.

Is this right? I have ordered badges and clothing from compananies in Australia including HSV, I haven't had to pay this before.

I ask as I'm thinking of framing a sticker as it would be (alright is) the highest priced sticker I've ever owned.

Thanks.

Kev.

My stickers have been received just through the letter box in envelopes
No charges here
Seems a bit over the top

VAT is charged at the full shipping price inc postage costs, the handling fee is a charge for picking the package up, paying customs etc.

It's a piss take but they all do it, I got stung £11 handling fee by UPS for collection of £19.48 VAT and they shipped the package from OZ !

It was £80 odd as the shipper didn't fill in the customs form properly and good old customs calculated a flat rate shipping cost from OZ @ £200 for a package weighing 1ib odd !!!

Taken me a week to get it all sorted, in the end, I had to send off all supporting documentation to UPS so they could recalc the VAT and provide proof to customs for the reduced charge.

Sometimes you're lucky, some times you're not frown

Dont even start me about UPS !!!

I hope I never ever have to use them again.

That said...after arguing with them and disputing the values they literally made up....strangely I havent heard anything now for almost 2 months !

Can give you a contact name and e-mail address at UPS for a very helpful lady who sorted my issue out very quickly.

To be fair, she was more helpful than the original shipper.
