World of Tanks Blitz (not full fat version)

As the title says, anyone playing this on mobile devices?

I'm getting rather hooked now. Great to way to kill 30 mins anytime, anywhere.

Not sure of tactics though, most tanks I go after are all Red in my sights, probably because I trying to use H/E shells instead of A/P I guess.

Hopelessly addicted to this! I played the PC original but I prefer this as I find it a lot more fun, with much quicker progression.

Yes if it's red you won't pen the armour, try aiming at the sides or back but you may still do some decent damage with HE. If you are facing higher tiers you may only be able to pen their armour with premium ammo (APCR or HEAT) but you can buy a few rounds for emergencies with credits instead of Gold.

Good tanks for 'seal clubbing' include T18, Cruiser IV, KV1, KV1S, Tiger, Tiger II and T110E3.

Okay, that makes sense regarding purchasing the premium ammo.

I now have a Tiger II so the game is getting even better.

Tiger II is brilliant with the Tier IX gun, just be careful to hide your lower glacis plate (bit underneath the front of the hull) as it's very easily penetrated. Fire and manoeuvre works for me.

I've unlocked the E75 recently which is the next one up form the TigerII, supposed to be the best T9 but I just can't get on with it. I'm really enjoying the KV-1 though, which just dominates T5, I've even been top gun several times on T7 games, it's that good......with a bit of luck aswell!

Just seen the 'fury' tank. Awesome detailing, even has the German helmet on the front. Can't ser it to buy though so must have been a limited bundle. Nice one

Perhaps Blitz has the original Fury tank. The Xbox version had the "666" insignia, in keeping with the film, and some Christian from America complained that he'd bought a premium tank with a "satanic" marking, and that offended him and his beliefs. For some reason, rather than refund him and remove the tank from his garage, WG changed it to "66". Political correctness gone mad has now reached the gaming world.

I'm a long time Blitz player but only recently started WoT on the PC.

I never pay for anything so only play for free ( mode) but have Pershing (poor IMO) Panther II (again, should have got a Tiger II instead :-( JPanther, only got this as route to Ferdinand, T-43 (good fun) IS-3, a Total beast my favorite so far, SU-152 (oh that gun!) and Cromwell...

Its a huge time waster but great fun.

Wow, I'm at 7091 with a rating of 3,332. My rating was a higher ratio but just can't master the E100 as yet...

I go through phases. I had a really good summer, started playing it far too much and was getting a good ranking. Then twister league appeared and I just dropped ranks like a stone in water.

I’m led to believe the Mrs has got me the Bluetooth steelseries controller for Christmas so I’ll be back to playing more.
