MANY FURIOUS ABOUT..a man parking outside his own house?
Discussion
Wail link sorry
What a bunch of self entitled
I don't understand peoples/grockles obsession with taking pictures of everything on holiday, there's been many photos taken before, (its even in the bloody passport!) just look it up online and a professional would of done a much better job already!
Then people can go back to actually, you know, sightseeing? With their eyes?

I saw that in the local rag yesterday and nearly posted it on here as i thought it would be an interesting opportunity for people to completely miss the point and rant about stereotypes involving chavs & hatchbacks.
If I were a local resident i'd tell the tourists to jog on and "get off my land" in a proper west country accent and continue parking there.
Also I do like this comment
"Mike Fletcher, a journalist and photographer from the village, said: 'Arlington Row is the most photographed cluster of English cottages in the world so the owner of the bright yellow car either hasn't registered that it's probably causing a lot of extra work on photoshop to take it out, or simply doesn't care."
Too bloody right the guy who lives in the village shouldn't have to care about how much fking photoshopping a amateur photographer needs to do!

I don't think I have ever seen a story so padded out before.
I forgot, what colour is the car again??
First time reading the mail online?I forgot, what colour is the car again??
I'm amazed that the article doesn't tell us how much a new Corsa costs, if yellow is an optional extra, how much the guy's house is worth and if a retired dentist makes him middle class.
I would find the Corsa annoying too, but the people complaining to the Hate Mail come across as aholes (not unlike most people who complain to it).
The first photo could easily have been taken without the car in, or cropped, and it only takes the most basic efforts to remove using the 'retouch' thing on Picasa.

Not sure why but I find it hilarious the old bloke is driving a banana yellow Corsa and parks it outside an iconic street. It actually looks quite good there, although that street would probably make any brightly coloured car look good, he should rent his parking space out to car journalists.
As for the tourists who expect him to move it - fk right off. If it was a dedicated tourist spot, then I can understand their point. But it's a residential road.

I was there last weekend (my camera phone pics below. Sorry for taking a picture OP). The car is a blot on the landscape that's for sure. It does rather spoil such a beautiful place...
This is not really a place to park a Yellow car...which makes it quite funny really. I'd probably do the same if I lived there.
