Hi guys just some advice or thoughts please, I have a 2012 felt ar4 bike which I have had from new.....am thinking of selling it as I have a few other bikes and fancy trying out a vivelo. Anyway am pondering over just selling the frame and using the components to build up the next bike,or just let it go complete the bike is mint and has never seen rain and has not really covered many miles.....really not sure what to do, am a real knob with my bikes just seem to collect more and more.

Depends really on how much time, mechanical ability and whether you really like the components. No point keeping it if none of it fits your new frame, or you want a different chainset/ratios etc...

You can price it up how much it is worth in parts, 20 mins on Ebay and the back if a fag packet. Once you factor in stripping it, ebaying parts, dealing with Ebay idiots and then posting it, it all adds up. Some bikes hold their value well, others less so, same with components . Some components will sell very quick other bits will go for peanuts.

Some people like the challenge of building up the frame, I'd love to do that, but have 0 free time so always buy complete as any time I get I want to spend riding, not in the shed building the bike

What size is the Felt and how much you looking for it?
