Incidentally,has anyone watched both copies of the 1st film,the uncut and cut versions ? Is there much point watching the uncut if you've already seen the mellow version ?

Watched the first one with very low expectations, mainly because I don't really get family guy.

It was childish, vulgar, crass and schmaltzy and the trailer looks like it's more of the same

... Which is ace as the first one was one of the funniest films I've seen in a long time.

Not feeling that tbh. Seems a bit more of a 'feel good story' than random drugs/Flash Gordon/80s references/prostitutes/dodgy thief character.

Thought the first one was great, particularly the extended cut.

I was a little disappointed with 'A Million Ways to Die' as it wasn't as sharp as Ted, got to be a tough act to follow, shame they've dropped Kunis from this one but the trailer looks good so fingers crossed.

Me and the OH watched it, she hadn't seen it before, she found it very funny, especially the vicious fight scene in the bedroom.

Ted is a great film but I suspect I will be disappointed with the sequel. Really hope I'm wrong on that one but the brilliance of the first was in its originality. Ted 2 may just be more of the same without the novelty factor.
