Classic Car this month - Griff feature
Discussion
But will it have £ ramped it up ?? Why Classic Cars chose a " Blinged " up Griff instead of something harder / more original looking is beyond me, perhaps no one else wanted to lend their car ?
That hideous steering wheel aaargh, quick pass the sick bag !! it's the type of thing you would see in a dodgy old XJ or Range Rover...
Yet Another missed opertunity to promote the Griff !!
And why not feature it in the Summer when the performance would have been far easier to exploit ??

Dealer car, but then so is mine.
I've just stood in Sains and re read this article and good grief it's absolutely b dire, drivel and waffle. Ok, so it's Great that the Griff is featured in a mag ( and on the cover ) but it could have been waaaaaay better written.
The critisism of the roof and the boot lid hinges etc particularly grates.
My Late ( Petrol head / 3 Litre Capri / E Type then Maserati Ghibli owning ) Dad used to buy me some of the first issues of Classic car magazine way back in 1973 and 74, it was a fantastic read back in the seventies and early 80s, with writers of the calibre of Michael Bowler, Johnathan Wood and Paul Skilleter ( and the very quick amatuer BMW racer Roger Bell I think ) but it just kept going downhill.
