Its an average of 15k miles per year. Doesnt sound too bad to me. 2 owners, full service history.

Could be a lot worse. Just going by the pictures, it looks to be wearing the miles well.

I saw that one and wondered where the power figure(s) came from.

I drove the car a month ago, looks okay, bit chippy as to be expected. drove okay for 121k, few groans and rattles from trim etc.

wasn't for me though - needed too much tlc to retail, but thought of buying to track it for some fun. make a cheap fun Ro for someone thumbup

Provided it's been looked after by the correct people, and had the right things done, I wouldn't worry about that at all. Do you intend to drive it or polish it?

Mines got 123k on the clock and to be honest, it wouldn't put me off that one. OK there is the odd squeak here and there, but they were there when it was on 50k and it hasn't got any worse. Drivers seat and the interior looks good too if you look after them.

Mine's done almost 99k, so a little under what that ones done, but not far off. I was hesitant about high miles ones but glad I did buy mine, I'd do it again, the savings you get from this sort of price can be used for mods etc.

If this is a 54 plate Monaro wouldn't it be a 384 BHP Monaro Vxr with a big boot.

Ad says 410 BHP on an ls2 but also says 5.7 litre not 6.0 litre.

Doesn't make sense.

As it was a press car, it would have been one of the first small boot cars to come in. There's a few on 05 plates, so no reason for there not to be one or two on a 54 plate. Forget the 5.7 in the ebay details, they are auto-filled.

My 6.0 VXR is No. 10 and built in October 2004. She's a '54 plate registered in Febuary 2005. So yes, easily done!

Mine VXR was built Dec 04, registered March 05, so only just snuck onto an 05 plate smile Plenty of time to still have the cheap tax though hehe

I get the impression that if they're looked after by eg Monkfish, serviced regularly and have all the issues arising seen to, and the known weaknesses addressed, they'll go on for ever and ever.

A well looked after high mile car is probably a safer bet than a garage queen as any issues outside of normal wear an tear would have been ironed out by now. Price needs to reflect the miles but I wouldn't have an issue with how far it's gone if very tidy.
