O.K, not as gross as it sounds. I haven't got some nasty rash or anything going on!

In 2006 I was in a car crash which pretty much affected my left side with the broken bones part of the injuries. Since then my left armpit started to whiff much quicker than my right one! Don't get me wrong, I'm not walking around with a cloud of flies above me. I'm a slim man who doesn't suffer from body odours in general and could go days without a wash or a spray of deodorant and you'd be none the wiser. But this left pit now appears to be getting worse, so what's going on there then? Why should my left pit be any different from my right?
Interestingly, probably on a slightly different note, after this crash there were some other changes that came about to my body too. I'd always had hay fever, which never happened again. I'd also been suffering from a continuous headache for some years, shakes, and panic attack type things (probably all stress related) all of which disappeared too. Even my constitution changed. I was given 3 hours to live, took 9 days to come out of a coma and was pretty much in a mess; so it was almost like being restarted. So strange things did happen, but they were actually quite positive considering the cause!

Weird.

Slightly less of an injury but I tore my AC Joint ligament in October last year (holds the clavical into your shoulder)and until fairly recently, wouldn't sweat out my right side (the side I injured). Not smell related, but I train a lot in the gym, and I just wouldn't sweat on that side. I think it's back to normal now though.

Weird stuff.

Strange things are happening in the armpit world!

If I hazard a guess, I imagine there must be some kind of glandular damage?

Mines back to normal now though. Seeing as yours was caused in 2006 then it might be a bit more permanent!

I had a massive accident in 1999, smashed up to hell.

Up til then I weighted about 10 stone and was like a whippet.

Post op x2 to repair femur, I bulked up to 15 stone and am quite stout.

Always wondered whether my body went "anabolic" post the accident to repair me.

That's interesting. Could it be age related though? For example, my Dad was always slim and then hit 40 and reached 16 stone. I thought I'd go the same way but at 47 still can't get above 11.5 stone!
