Ok bear with me ... probably a ramble...

So I have taken full advantage of the google play music player, I often stream music from it, its ace.
However its my own music, I have basically used the option to mirror my itunes libary. So far so good.

However..

SOme of the music in my collection seems to be missing information, track names, artist, some miss all, some miss bits. Does anyone know if you can edit this information once its uploaded?

Thanks

I've always found the best way is to delete the album, redo all the tags in your iTunes version and reupload to google.

Thanks.
I tried that but then it wouldn't reupload it for some reason. Its like it was ignoring it, because I had permanantly deleted it.

Could you please explain to me how this works? I've had android phones in the past but always given them to my other half and moved back to iOS because I have 1000s of songs downloaded and paid for on iTunes and want access to them. Am I being silly?

Edit: I've just done some internet searching and looks like I could of easily been listening to my iTunes music on Android!! Silly me. (When is the next Android flagship out....?!)

Have you tried editing on music.google.com? There's an "edit info" option.

I use Google Play Music all the time now. Basically ripped all of my CD's and uploaded them most of the time the info is there. Sometimes I have to put it manually.

That was one of my concerns moving platforms.
Eats up the data though

It was more a case of updating it after its uploaded it. But as a tool its very good

Using the music uploader tool select a different folder to look at. Click Apply then select your original folder with all the music. It should then re download anything you deleted.
