Hi,

Long time lurker here. I wonder if anyone could assist as per the title. Google has proven to be pretty fruitless and I like to work on recommendation. Many of the IAM links in the thread were dead also.
I would like some additional driver training as I am a company car driver. I think the term is defensive driving, improving safetey avoiding situations that sort of thing. I am finding driving quite stressful at the moment and believe some additional one to one tuition could help.
If there are any tutor on here that cover the East Midlands, Notts Derby area or if someone can recommend one to me that would be much appriciated.

Thank you.

No i haven't thank you. I am still Googling now but I just seem to find either course aimed at fleet managers for multiple drivers. Or courses like AA drivetech that sound good but you are not able to attend voluntarily. I will take a look at the link now.

These cater to individuals and have fleet trainers covering a wide area. http://www.driverskills.com/

Did you know your employer has a legal responsibility to assess their drivers for risk and provide training to minimise that risk? Health and Safety legislation very much applies to anyone who drives as part of their job. I would suggest you drop some hints to your H&S person or any director if it's a small company - they are personally responsible and can face serious consequences (including prison) if they don't follow the guidelines.

Look up 'Driving for Work' on the HSE website for useful info.
