Well here I am, for the third time in nearly as many months, taking the oh to hospital for some reason or other.

I really have a hatred for them. Sat in the waiting department and I have to go outside every 10-15 minutes because I really don't like them, no idea why it's just one of those things.

Is it just me?

Have to say though the people that work here must be given some praise though.

You should see a doctor about that.

I have a fear of needles, so haven't had an injection for 26 years smile

Massively. And I worked in one for years. The OH is due to go in next week for day surgery and I've not slept properly in weeks knowing I've got to go in. It's irrational and stupid but there never the less. I feel your pain.

Oh yes. No fear of needles or surgery, but the wards. Stuck in a bed until they've either cured you or killed you. Shudder.

My advice: "Don't get ill."

No everyone else loves it there, it's like a home from home.
I can't wait to go back, I'm thinking of spending my next holiday there, it's such a happy place.

Don't a lot of people die in hospitals, though?

Reminds me of this:

Oh, no, I hate hostipals. My uncle went into a hostipal once and when he came out he was dead
Blackadder said:
Yes Baldrick, he was also dead when he went in. He'd been run over by a traction engine

Well, if you want to catch something new you can't go wrong at a hospital.

Yes, I would rather walk around with half a leg falling off!

I would also rather just drop dead one day, than be told i have 3 months left Etc...

I have not visited a hospital since i was about 15!!

I should really get a tax rebate hehe

What's more likely of course is "you would have only had three months left, but as you've come in early we can treat you and you can live another 50 years".

Thousands (millions?) of people will live longer because they got treatment for something, rather than let it fester.

Your choice.

What annoys me about hospitals/doctors is that you go in with lets say a broken arm & come out with bloody flu or something!

Somebody I know is a security guard in a hospital who has to walk around the morgue during the night as part of his patrol. He said some of the noises you here down there can be pretty unnerving.
