Also, I like how (for the PC version under Steam) you can buy Episode 1 for £3.99 and then Episodes 2-5 for an additional £13.99, or all 5 for £15.99

That's not too punitive. A lot of publishers would punish you for wanting to just try the first episode first.

Just finished Episode 3 of this (yes, at 02:00 - couldn't stop playing!). This is a fking brilliant game, can't wait for the next two episodes. Highly recommend this.

I didn't really get into it and am glad I only bought Ep1. It's odd, as I thought it would be right up my street, but I just found it really hard to engage with it.

Maybe I need to give it another go.

Love this game so far; can't wait for the next 2 - such a good story-telling game. The twist at the end of ep3 really kicks you in the gut. Also one of the few games where I've subsequently bought music from its soundtrack (the only others being Mirror's Edge and Last of Us).

There is a lot more to the game than I first realized; there is a LOT of hidden subtext and content in the story than first meets the eye; Geek Remix's channel on youtube has several videos of fan-conspiracy about what every means (repeated use of the colour blue, the doe, butterflies and all the graffiti) - it's actually very interesting. I might be getting into this too much...

I have read a theory where (seriously, don't click this unless you really want to) Rachel is actually Max in an alternate timeline - hence people confusing her for Max, clothes fitting, them wanting mirror opposite careers (model / photographer), both being best friends for Chloe etc). Which could be perfectly plausible.
The end of episode 3 though, blimey-o-riley. And I thought the ending of episode 2 was good.

Really glad I got this in the steam sale, it's been a complete bargain. Episode 1 is a bit slow, but it really picks up from there.

It builds slowly I have to say, but really starts to ramp up from the end of episode 2.

Plus the soundtrack is great.

Just finished ep4; the last 30 mins or so are a real gut wrencher they sure know how to end on a cliff hanger! I'm starting to wonder just have different some of the outcomes would have been had I made different decisions back in ep1, and especially if I had managed to save a certain character in ep2.

This game is bloody brilliant. Pure genius writing, and proves once again that a story makes a game, NOT the graphics. I can't wait for episode 5, but I don't want it to be over, although there is rumor of a season 2, fingers crossed!

I feel a right arse because I got David madsen kicked out of the house as I didn't trust him - turns out he was on our side all along but just doesn't know how to communicate.

I'm thinking that as he has the coordinates for all the vehicle movements which show where the dark room is he might be the one to turn up when we really need him to.

Good theory, wouldn't surprise me in the least if he suspects Max & Chloe would investigate themselves.

However I am 99% certain that (huge spoiler ahead) Chloe will be brought back to life, through the photo that Max and Warren took outside the Vortex club. I have a feeling Rachel might not be dead either, because we didn't actually see the body, but I am not sure sure about that one.

I've got absolutely no idea how this thing is going to come to a conclusion, but I know there will be some HUGE twists and turns in episode 5!

Shame we've got to wait till bloody October for the next episode!

What's really annoying me is that at the end of episode 2, I blamed Jefferson for kate's suicide attempt but then rewound time and blamed Nathan. I knew something wasn't right about him (especially after dismissing Kate as being a fantasist) but there was no proof.. .

Another thing I think is that Rachel's spirit animal is the doe, and chloe is either the blue bird or blue butterfly. Note that you can keep saving blue birds - I think it might be linked to her fate.

I've never played a game with such an indepth story, I thought TLOU was good - this is just brilliant
