HI All,

I know one has just been asked for, but................... does anyone have a spare early TVR speedo with white dial / black bezel or even a later white dial speedo. I am loosing the will to live trying to obtain one from TVR salvage suppliers

On a separate note , just as a question, can the speedo dials be changed on a speedo and ancillary dials ?

I had silver leven ones - they are just caps - so I simply sprayed them when I did my dash refurb.

Light coat etch primer and then gloss black - pic below:-

If you take the leven caps off you should just need to clean off the glue and voila.

Once the glue was removed, I used a pencil and stuffed a wadge of masking tape in the silver button and put the pencil in there....

....you can then twiddle the the pencil around with the cap on top you are spraying and you get all the button done nice - stick the pencil in a cardboard box to dry....repeat the process with the other two.

Light coats work - take yer time!

Can't use the one off the 5ltr as it has been balanced to that engine, also decided to keep the 5ltr as a spare.
