I've been looking over the build manual, and a couple different build sites - almost all recommend not riveting the top of the front bulkhead as the center body section will later be attached to that part of the chassis.

What about the rear bulkhead(the engine panel bulkhead)-specifically for the CanAm? It looks like the back of the central section of the GRP also rivets into the chassis - should I skip riveting those as well till the GRP is riveted?

Any other rivets which later need to be removed to install the body?

I'm still a little while away from the riveting phase, this is just for my initial notes as I prepare for the build... T-Minus 9 weeks...

Yes top of both the front and rear panels.
When you rivet the panels in place you will also be setting them on a bed of sealant so for the top rails just clamp a length of wood along this edge whilst the sealant goes off.

Locating those front bulkhead holes when installing the center section will be made much easier with the use of a strap duplicator. See here:
