Missed that.

NASA have optical tracking just about perfect these days. Other space agencies are a lot less proficient at this.
Both NASA and ESA live videos tend to be HD these days - the Russians seem to still be in the SVGA stage biggrin

Docking with ISS will be live later this afternoon around 16:30 ( I think )

They're very busy chaps at the moment.

Are they having a go at a 1st stage recovery on this one?

I've not seen any mention of it Eric - I suspect the payload is too heavy to allow a recovery attempt

Yep, too heavy. Musk tweeted that they are planning upgrades so they can land these geo missions. Thrust +15%, deep cryo oxygen, upper stage tank vol +10%

Not so much a launch as a test firing. Orbital ATK (formerly Morton-Thiokol) will be test firing the five stage Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) at 4.30 pm today. It will be live on NASA TV.

The five stage SRB will be used on the new Space Launch System (SLS - I hope they give the booster a decent name soon).

SpaceX launch now delayed until late April - but the one supposed to be after it will keep the original date of April the 10th, essentially swapping them in order

http://spaceflightnow.com/2015/03/21/spacex-swaps-...

Sources said the launch date and time could be adjusted in the next few weeks, but is currently scheduled for 2142 GMT on April 10.
