2bular exhust

Hi all just wondering
Had a 2bular exhust fitted yesterday
Car sound fantastic
On my s3 elise
However I was expecting. Some more umph
Jim expected that the power could improve. From 135 to up to 155
Maybe the engine. Is not settled yet
Done about 50 miles since fitted
Any advice please as I'm a newbie
Ps the exhust was a work of art and the perfect. Sound
Not too loud
Don't think I'll have stereo. On for a while

20hp is too much to expect.
do you have the TRD air box too?
you'll get a small gain, probably under 10, plus it should feel more responsive.

Yes got tdr air box
Maybe was looking for too much
Took her out today
Seams like it's settling down and pulling better in higher. Gears
But it's worth. It just for the sound

But on topic - you'll get modest bhp gains, but it'll sound faster

If you've ever seen the massive oil drum lotus use as a silencer on the 1.6 you'd re consider that opinion. They use the same silencer as the supercharged 1.8.

op, the 155bhp won't come from just the silencer, you'll also need the manifold and sport cat. Did you have these aswell?

Yep got the whole works
Great but the engine Still not sorted itself out
Still getting warning light should sort it's self out about 300 miles in
