Question about splitting payments on credit/debit cards

A few questions about how best to use credit/debit cards:

1) Do you pay for high value (£100 +) purchases on a credit or debit card?
2) Do you pay for recurring purchases on a credit or debit card?

I put as much on credit card as I possibly can, from a £3 snack/ coffee, the weekly shop to big purchases (TVs/ cars)

I get cash back from my credit card. I obviously pay off monthly, which leaves more cash in my hand as well. Nowadays I very rarely use my debit card - although just purchased road tax as the credit card charges are too expensive!

Credit card = shopping card.

Debit card = cash machine card.
