Driveway / Block Paving Restorer and Slate Patio Sealer Recs

In true PH fashion I have just had my driveway extended to squeeze another car on... house is a fairly typical new-ish build with what was once a red/pink block paved drive. The original blocks are faded / bleached and the new ones are of course not. A quick Google reveals a myriad of products recommending the earth... any personal recommendations as to products and approach to try and restore the old blocks to their former glory? Pressure wash, apply a suitable impregnating and sealing product to both old and new?

On the same note... at the same time had slate patio laid. Similar question, any recommendations for a "wet look" type sealant for natural slate?
