Having worked in London a while back i am ok with getting round, but i now need a bit more inside knowledge and hoping some here can help!

Towards end of Feb, i need to try find some space to 'rock up' with a 7.5 tonne lorry as part of a promo being planned. One day is a friday, then also Saturday. Plan was for Friday to try the corporate side of things and try something in/around/close to Canary Wharf, and then for the Saturday do something more 'general public' and try somewhere like a shopping centre car park, however most in London seem to be underground parking or covered!

Does anyone know any areas that might have space to do this sort of thing? Dont need power or anything like that, just space for a lorry in busy areas (which i know dont always go well together!) Apart from Canary Wharf i'd say central or west london favourable to keep travel down.

Cheers, Mark

Canary Wharf isn't public highway so the usual rules don’t apply, I would suggest contacting them direct.

Trying to find a space for a car is enough of a problems at any of the shopping centres on a Saturday!!
What sort of thing are you planning? Any shopping centre/retail park will surely want prior notice and possibly want to charge you. Will you possibly get moved on if you're parked in the street doing what you want to do? smile

Dont get me wrong, i plan to contact and pre arrange any space and understand some will charge. Our local shopping centre will hire out parking spaces for promo, so hoping some centres will somewhere.

Id love to say more about what im doing, but i pretty much guarantee itll be seen as me promoting it (even though it isnt!). By almeans drop me a Pm and i can explain!

Cheers

Brent Cross shopping centre has some outdoor parking. But, you'll have to turn up early for a good place as it gets rammed.
