Hello all

Just joined the forum in the hope some of you guys have recommendations for (or are!) tyre fitters in the Nottingham/Derby area that won't cost an arm and a leg.

Got a new set or R1Rs coming, and want the T1Rs currently on the rims swapping to some other wheels I've got.

Cheers

ETS are reasonable, I tend to buy tyres from them rather than online too as they're just as cheap.

Give Britannia Tyres a call, they weren't quite the cheapest when I called around looking to do exactly this a few months but they were damn close and I'd used them before so trusted them to do a good job. http://www.britanniatyres.co.uk/

Thanks worth a call, I already have the Toyos so literally just a fitting service needed. Spare Deal Tyres in Wollaton have usually sorted me out for a reasonable price but figured if there's any fitters on here who can do special deals for petrolheads!

Believe it or not I have found that the Kwik Fit Mobile guys are really good. They come to you, and you get to buy tyres at Kwik Fit prices - there is no mark up for the mobile service. Also, the people in the office know that special variants of tyres are required for certain cars and they WILL go out of their way to ensure that they get the right ones for you. Lastly, the guys who actually come to do the fitting are without exception ( in my experience to date) first rate guys who REALLY take care of the job and have a genuine enthusiasm for the cars they are working on.
I have used them on all my cars for the past couple of years and the service has never been less that exceptional.

Might just be me, but I don't trust anyone doing much on my car, including driving it somewhere and letting them jack it up where they see fit.

I take the wheels off, order tyres online and drive them to the tyre fitters for fitting. That's why I'm after somewhere handy that can sort me out cash prices, no disposals and no messing removing wheels etc.
