I've posted this in tlocuk as well but thought I'd try here too...

03 Toyota Landcruiser Amazon 100 4.2 td manual, 215k miles, serviced annually, last 6 months / 7000 miles ago, predominantly on road driving, all standard, last use off road / low range / diff lock 6 months ago...

Drove to work this morning in the snow with no issues, went a little fast on the dual carriageway but otherwise nothing abnormal.

Started the car after work and went to pull away but felt like the handbrake was on, it wasn't but the centre diff lock light was on, don't think I caught the button but I could have done, pushed it to no avail, tried engaging low range and back to high, tried centre diff lock and the other one which just flashed... No sign of any leaks or anthing... Parked up and got a lift home.

Doesn't feel like just the diff lock is on, more like the rear axle is part jammed...

Any ideas of things I should check / do before calling the garage?

Thanks, James

Have you tried reversing it or maybe trundling one wheel or side slowly over a kerb / slippery surface to allow the transmission to unwind and hopefully unlock?
