I've been told June build, early July delivery.
So have you actually got a build slot today or is this just a theoretical date given out a couple of weeks ago?My understanding is that slots are actually being allocated early next week - the 3rd March seems to be a magic date said by more than one source.

I'm no.2 at my OPC so im hoping for a summer delivery so i can go grand touring round Europe. Does anyone know if its straightfoward to take the factory collection option from a UK based OPC? Would love to pick it up and take a tour of the museum etc.
I am first on the list for my OPC so should be able to get a June/July delivery apparently. I was planning on the Agate Grey but am now concerned that it looks a bit too sensible. The Saphire Blue looks fantastic in the promo photos but awful on the configurator; has anyone seen this in the flesh?

Having seen a couple of Caymans in the Sapphire Blue it would be one of my main choices if I was speccing a new car, google images has some good shots of the colour. The Carmine Red works well tooneilsss said:

Just saying that I wouldn't want to buy a "stripper" car, as I would be using it as a DD.
My spec was: http://www.porsche-code.com/PG417IX5 £81,714 - Buckets, PCCBs and a good spattering of nice toys.
Mine has all the toys but like gt4 no ceramics ,that was a tough call ,you get used to how magnificent the Aston stoppers are.My spec was: http://www.porsche-code.com/PG417IX5 £81,714 - Buckets, PCCBs and a good spattering of nice toys.

I got a call at 8pm ish last night from the dealer, stating ' you're getting the first car ,we expect a June delivery ' he wants me to go in and finalize what I want over the weekend as I specced up two cars with him .My understanding is that slots are actually being allocated early next week - the 3rd March seems to be a magic date said by more than one source.

the books are not open for a build slot, the est 1st cars are June.but 35 OPC all have a 1st car !
My loi was May 2014 btw and I was still 2nd although that would have put me 1st at just about any other OPC, some one just took a flyer and said
here is my LOI for any hot Cayman back in 2013 ! lol

We already know how the sportscar is going to look like and all the technical specifications but it was not spotted in all its glory until janb_photography got lucky enough to spot this sportscar resting near the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen. This Porsche Cayman GT4 is finished in a special Carmine Red color.

I wish 1) I'd believed the rumours and 2) thought they would do a proper GT job on it. I (falsly) presumed it was just going to be another "R" type stunt.I look forward to seeing yours round Manchester.
