opening rear side windows

Hi how do you replace the rubber seal between the glass and the chrome frame
I got some from Bingley but i can't get it to fit in with out splitting and thick its to thick if anyone has a link to the correct stuff please post link thanks

I just fill the frames with black tiger seal, fit the glass, tape the whole thing up until it drys, then trim the excess of with a sharp blade

That has crossed my mind may work better like that as i have had to reposition the catch part lower down due to having electric opening rear windows
