I need to paint a 1200mm x 700mm thin sheet of aluminium that will be exposed to heat

What is the best method for the above job

Will Hammerite work?

Depends on how hot its going to get. Is it within the paints range?
Usual advice with ally is to etch prime first after cleaning & degreasing. I've used U-Pol Acid8 aerosols under car paint & not had a problem, but not used it in a high heat situation. Hammerite recommend using their own primer on ally.

Thanks paintman I will go over to that link, it wont be getting very hot as its 1.5 Meters above a log burning stove
