I'm organising a weekend trip to north Wales on 27th/28th June and will be taking in some of the best roads in the area, which some of you may know are very good. We will be stopping the Saturday night only at www.tydderw.co.uk which is located on Anglesey. Their number is 01248 410777. Prices are £55 for a single, and £80-90 for a double. The hotel only has 11 rooms and five are now taken, so if you're keen on joining us on what should be a fantasic trip then could you please book ASAP before they are all gone. So far we have four cars on the trip and it would be nice to get another five or six. As an added interest, the plan for the Sunday is to take a ride in a 600hp RIB. This will leave from Holyhead and be out at sea for about 2 hours. This will depend on having enough people interested as the RIB holds a maximum of 12, so the more people the cheaper it will be. At the moment we're looking at about £33 per person if we get a full boat, but they may do us a discount. So far we have six interested. If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land then that's fine, just let me know so we can get numbers. All route details and meeting points to follow closer to the time.

Thanks
Paul

Sounds great - I would be coming from North Midlands so could do with a time and place I could meet you guys.
By the way - just be aware that 2 hours on a rib can be very hard work (I used one with 2 x 90 hp engines never mind 600!) if you are sitting on anything other than saddle style seats if the sea state is even moderate.
I would also recommend that people wear gloves even at that time of year. I have done a lot of power boating and jet skiing around Anglesey and love the place.

Most of the people who have booked up already are from the Midlands and we've done many trips to Wales over the years. We usually meet at The Little Chef at Bayston Hill on the A5 near Shrewsbury. I haven't sorted a time yet as it's still early days. We've also been on a few RIB's before, the last one off Tenby in Sept. Also done Pwllheli and the Menai Straits, I don't think they were 600hp RIB's, but we're always up for a challenge. We have 6 cars booked in now. If you can let us know when you've booked your room, Steve and I can add you to the list.
