Hello folks, I've got 10 days in May and was thinking of going back to Italy and watching the start and finish of the Mille Miglia. Thinking of flying to Milan or Verona, hiring a car and staying in Brescia.
Any tips?
The official Mille Miglia website gives the basic route but how easy is it to find out the detailed route to see them on the first day and last day?
The rest of the time I'm thinking of seeing the lakes, maybe the hills, and probably a day in Verona and a day in Milan.

I've been to the MM the last 2 years.

A good place to see them leaving Brescia is at the roundabout for the MM museum which obviously you can also

visit.

I'm rubbish with the internet but it's not too difficult to find the detailed route by comparing the shape

of the map route on the MM site to an Italian map.

Last year I also saw them pass through Lucca .

Bringing this back to the top. Have booked it, leaving in 13 days time. Anyone else with tips on viewing it near the Brescia area? Will be watching the start from... the start I guess to soak up the atmosphere.

If you're going to Brescia for the start, all the cars are parked

in the town square in the afternoon.

Don't know how to link my thread on the phone but use search

"Mille Miglia pictures 2014"

Wonderful photos. I think I'll enjoy simply wandering around the square and watching them away from the outskirts of Brescia itself.
