Open a page to find it boots the App Store a second later

Been happening for a few weeks now, when I open a page 1 in 10 times it'll open the App Store about a second after clicking the thread link.

iPhone 4 running version 6.1.3

Bit annoying really!

Also on a 3GS running iOS 3.1.3 (Old Skool and proud) - started doing it last week.

It'll be a redirect on the page that forces iOS to open the App Store .. Probably one of the adverts. I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen on PH pages too.

Thanks for this, what app does it present you with please? This should help us track down where it comes from.

Next time it does it I'll hang around to find out. So far I've stopped it before it's got to that point.

Just happened again - the app is 'Sky Bet' by BSkyB.

Complain to Apple that an App Store member is doing something annoying and unethical. They will completely fail to get it, obviously.

I've asked for this to be investigated again, I believe it should have been blocked. Please let me know if you get it again.

Just had it again after I opened the General Gassing forum group page. The space at the top of the page where the ad would be was this text: 'If you don't automatically redirect, click here', with click here being this link:
