Had a great weekend with some friends in South Wales. Great driving, lunch by the sea, great driving, lots of eye watering laughs at dinner - sunshine - how can life get better than a weekend like this...

You know that very big bill you paid when you got the car...the service might have been built into that! biggrin

Not just today, but fitted a new drivers door check strap, (sorry, arrester barsmile) plumbed in remote central locking and boot release using a Fiat key blank remote transmitter with an auxiliary channel(use the car for work and it's a pain to have to manually open the car then toggle the boot release)
Stripped out the interior to find and fix the leak and next is new brakes all round smile

I love the XJR-15 so much. I have seen a green one in Scotland and had a wee poke around. Just the right side of crazy.

Thanks...would be interested to know where / when you saw it, as the only green one I know of is a rare LM-spec car which I thought was in Japan.

I very vaguely remember It being on a car show, (top gear and Tiff Needell spring to mind) and just thinking it was bonkers. I know they were very limited, do you happen to know how many were made SteveO220?

Hi, yes, only about 50 were made, 16 'race' cars and >30 'road' cars. It is indeed bonkers - a Group C car for the road, but if you like that kind of thing, well, it just has to be done!
