Remember where the paper mills were? Between the canal and the river (Gade) - it's a housing estate now....

and not a very nice one.

Gade gets remembered too - its the worlds ugliest car park.

The first one is three stitched images on the Pentax DA15mm. Second one is a single image on the same lens, both Pentax K-7 with IR modifications. The raw files are mono due to the modifications, the toning is then done in Topaz Adjust.

Same trip to Funchal gave this one, stitched from nine images on the DA15:
