Garage door suppliers/installers?

These guys have always been very good, they automated our garage doors but looks like they do most things and include Northamptonshire:

I don't know but I'd have thought that an insulated roll-up door would be too bulky when rolled up, insulating an up-'n'-over sounds easier
unless you have heating and/or a dehumidifier don't be tempted to put standard matting or carpeting in the garage as they can hold the damp, to walk on use rubber/plastic flooring or wooden duck boards perhaps
remember to keep warm (or cooler in summer) as much as possible you want to keep the air inside inside and the air outside outside so look for areas of loss like windows, doors and draughts around them, walls and particularly ceiling/roof
putting some sort of insulated ceiling in will help with insulation a lot, double (or secondary) glazing only about half's the glazing heat loss (covering with plastic or closed close fit heavy/thermal curtains can be just about as good)
creating zone areas where you'll be working (with heavy plastic sheeting or something or a shed if you have a huge garage) will concentrate any heating/insulation to that area
simple things like wearing a hat of some kind, scarf, gloves and jacket will keep you warmer too

Give Sean a bell at Fernie garage doors, absolutely top bloke, he did me a really good deal on a Hormann fully insulated sectional electric door. So happy with it, the motor is fast and quiet, 2 remotes to operate it and the garage has no drafts whatsoever as it seals when it closes and the garage is much much warmer now!
