Recommend me another book...

I've just finished reading the Stieg Larsson trilogy (the girl with the dragon tattoo etc) and absolutely loved them.

I was tempted to read The Count of Monte Cristo next but I'm not sure I'm quite in the mood for a book that long right now. Has anyone got any suggestions of books which, based on my enjoying the Stieg Larsson books, I might enjoy?

I would have thought 'Headhunters; by Jon Nesbo would fit the bill precisely.
Swedish, a fiendish plot and a cracking pace.
