I'm going next weekend in Newcastle. My brother got the tickets from his daughter but his partner has a school reunion to go to so I'm going in her place. Getting a lift there and back and a free ticket so just a few beers to pay for (otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered either!)

I hate the arena car park - remember to pre pay when you arrive saves waiting to pay when you come out.

If you don't mind a bit of a walk I park down by the PierHead and walk along past the Albert Dock and it means you get away pretty handy too.

Quite enjoyed it and so did the good lady. The LED BMW's looked fab.

Went on the big wheel next to the arena after the show to let the crowds fight their way from the car park, a rip off but a great view!

We were out the car park in 5 mins but I went on the river road toward the Albert Dock and they closed that exit. We went to Chinatown for food - town was heaving last night people everywhere.
Led M3s incredible spectacle - instead of a wrap. ? smile
The drifting was pressure I guess as live but clarkson did well.
Car display meh
Fiestas interesting - and the surprise
Must make them a packet !!

Enjoyed it.
Liked the flaming 911's and the LED M3's. Took me a while to ID the Noble :laug

Parking wise I always use the John Lewis Q Park, easy escape along Park Lane/Jamaica Street.

It's quite expensive, ie you know it's not cheap but the price still surprises you .

I've been twice on it I think. Once at night and once during the day (about 2 or 3 years now).

Me and the missus went on the London Eye a few months ago; you can get a day and night ticket ( £24 each as opposed to £20 each for just a single go ).

£36 for 4 of us was a surprise for 7 revolutions, just expected it to be less.

Still glad we did it, as I said the views were excellent

Went to the afternoon show today. Didn't really have any idea of what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It is what it says on the tin; An episode of top gear - but live.
