My mum's Corsa D 5 door hatch has just come back from some insurance work at the panel beater. Work seems fine, but the jack kit (including the foam surround) has been left in the boot. I recall that it's supposed to sit behind the hatch on the right side of the boot as you look at it, but I can't work out (in the dark, with a crap torch) whether it can be put back in without removing trim panels. It seems a bit too big to fit through the hole, and I can't find any picture to show it clearly. Any thoughts?

Found this pic of the foam thing

Which appears to be the same shape as this space (ignore the compressor etc, the foam is the same shape)

ETA: Doh, so you got that far, by the looks of that second picture its rather tight. Can you squash the foam in and put the jack in later ?

I thought laterally about it a bit. You would need to take the foam out to change the indicator and brake light bulbs, and while I couldn't find a video of taking the jack kit out, I did find a video of changing the bulbs.
