Blackburn to South East

I am picking up a 645ci on Thursday, if all goes well, from Blackburn and am going to be returning to SW London that afternoon/evening.

Can anyone recommend some initial nice roads or even route that I can take in order to familiarise myself with the dynamics of my new partner in crime?

Just having a look on maps. Off the M65 onto the A646 through Hebden Bridge and Elland then the A629 around Huddersfield then down to the M1/A1?

Okay, that was wet and very slow, with loads of average speeds of 50mph on the M1 where I have the luxury of cruise control and plenty of stoopid middle lane hoggers, but I brought my new beauty home to her new home in the South from the North!
