Kia Shooting Brake - wow!
Discussion
What do we think about this? Personally, I think it looks great but would only be interested if it had the performance to match the looks...

Usually 3-door although it has been used for 5-door cars too which is just a fancy name for an estate now.
You could stick an Alfa badge on that ans I wouldn't question it. Is it still Schreyer designing Kias? He's doing a great job if so!
I did wonder, as my dad's shooting brake has 5 doors. I never thought I'd look twice at a Kia but I'm tempted to get an estate/shooting brake/call it what you will to better accommodate a growing family and that looks lovely. You could stick an Alfa badge on that ans I wouldn't question it. "A range of turbocharged petrol engines are unlikely, we believe, but a plug-in hybrid model is"
not great news then?
ETA the Top Gear chaps seem more optimistic
"but we've got our fingers crossed Kia is about to pull a blinder and fit the 5.0-litre, 420bhp V8 from the K900 saloon. What? It could happen..."
not great news then?

I always find Kia just make sure their cars tick boxes, nothing more.
"Has it go suspension?" Tick
"Does it have an engine?" Tick
"Has it got wheels?" Tick
A mate of mine has cee'd sportback and the suspension is so soft and underdamped the body just lollops about over the bumps when it's anywhere near loaded up. It's like there is almost zero r&d into anything that makes a car nice to drive!
Just my limited opinion of course!
