it just gets worse ! liked the phantom , but not a fan of silver cloud and wraith and that ch4 show about rr recently was very off putting . it seems to have gone downhill after the phantom , great profits and sales figures but chasing after volume too much.

It's an inevitable part of brand exploitation, I guess: you've got a valuable brand and so you want to make the most money you can out of your investment by producing as many cars as possible, so you have to expand the range. Bentley have already gone down that route. Mercedes went that way years ago. Even Ferrari, under Marchionne, seems set to follow suit, at least in volume terms (I think a Ferrari SUV is unlikely, unless you count the FF, of course!).
