What a minter! Where'd you find such a low mileage 306 in that condition? Always loved these if im honest.

Loving that red GTI-6, looks like a stunning example!

In contrast here is my 20-year-old 1.9 D Turbo. Believe it or not I've got more faith in this than I would in any new car!

Yes, picked it up from Belgium a few weeks ago, DVLA registration came through last week. It is modified, bucket seats, I hated originally but are starting to grow on me, a big exhaust, which I will make more subtle, and a 1,400 Turbo engine, from a 1980's Renault 5, which should be fun. I'm slightly in trepidation however, in its day the Dauphine was nicknamed the Roll-over Renault!

Well done Sir, very well done.

Shocks back then were shocking, modern stuff should help a lot I would think. I have been tempted by these for some time.
Do you run other French cars, if not it is an unusual car for a non garlic driver.

Some very good people here.... http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/index.php

my baguette, I like the stock look as well but don't have the handling problems inherent with that design. In my modified VW days I had a ALFA 2ltr in a Beetle, interesting at times smile

It is sharing my garage with an Italian, a 1963 Fiat, and a Brit, a Caterham, I have no nationality bias!
