I'm really interested to hear, (and feel) how light the clutch is going to be.

Big power = a heavy clutch which takes away the pleasure of driving.

My single plate McLeod clutch is very heavy and that is only rated to 350bhp, (my old Helix was far worse!).

Did you consider the Twin plate?

This is going to be lighter than the AP clutch we had, the clutch itself weighs a fraction of the old one, and the mechanism for the closing of the clutch is much more efficient and the springs (from what my Dad said) are much lighter.

This is the clutch that McLaren fit to their cars. (it is £600+ tho)

Derek as far as i could make out the mc cloud fits to the original flywheel i know you could have a light one built to put the mc cloud on but then it would need sending for balancing etc. But superclutch and ttv work together to supply a complete package and it is very light with little periferal weight so very good pickup faster changes etc. Time will tell but i think it will be good the only down side is as there are no driven plate damping the gearbox will probably rattle at tickover maybe not to everyones liking.

McLeod twin plate clutch is spot on, no clutch grabbing in traffic when hot unlike a helix, and light on the foot. Ordered from real steel and mod the clutch release carrier , cluthc nice and light and progressive not just on and off

What he said. Do it once and do it right. It'll be expensive but this clutch won't slip and it's a joy when you get stuck in stop start holiday traffic jams. It's just like an OE clutch. I bought mine direct but it wasn't easy, lol. Mine was a bigger diameter so I used a modded range rover flywheel.

It's just the re drilling of the flywheel for clutch cover mounting holes, rob at v8 Dev had mine drilled. I looked at super clutch but heard mixed reports, yes good as a race clutch but I wanted something for everyday traffic.
