If you look out of your window now you will see Venus, Mars and the Moon.

Quite surprised at how red Mars looks tonight!

Just look out of the Window and if you can see the Moon the two planets will be right next to it.

Well I got my telescope out for the first time in about 5 years and the bloody clouds came in!

Did get to see the crescent of the Moon though, was brilliant!!

No searching for another ccd camera as it seems 5 years in a damp garage has broken mine.

I thought about it but not enough time to cool the scope down as it was sinking. Think 1AU for Venus and 2 for Mars. Give or take.

Yeap got lots of condensation on my scope and called it a night. Have left it setup next to the door though for tonight smile
