Rare for me to venture down that way,but when I do I always point out where the subaru rally cars were built to whoever is in the car with me.....today it looked like the old prodrive buildings had been knocked down !!! And are being replaced with mclaren buildings.....I assume it's the car company no ?

The old Prodrive HQ building has gone but the signs you saw are for McLaren the construction co. not the car builder. The new buildings will be a retail park.

They've simply moved to another site, bigger and better smile

The old site is going to converted into a shopping park.

And their own car collection is currently being displayed at the Donington Park museum, for about a year, whilst the new buidings are taking shape.

It's worth a journey there just for that, I went down last summer. Excellent way to spend a couple of hours.
