How much discount should I expect off an X3 for September delivery?

I recently had a quote on a heavily specced 35d which equated to a little more than 8% discount on list price, which was more than I expected given demand.

I'd have probably ordered if the finance rates weren't utterly bonkers. I was very impressed by the 30d I drove and thats having an E70 40d presently and an E83 35d in the past.

That was a factory order for September.

I wanted a 35d anyway, but I recall it had £1k extra manufacturer support vs the 30d... narrowing the cost difference somewhat. Worth bearing in mind if you were considering either.

I have an X3 on order since the beginning of August last year. It was due to be built at the beginning of February but has now slipped and the latest my dealer can tell me is early May for delivery. ( so 10 months from order to delivery)

The discount on the 20d is practically non existent though you can do better on the big engine cars as demand for them is less.

My dealer told me last week that realistic delivery dates for cars ordered now is October/November

The supply to the uk is tight and due to global demand exceeding factory capacity is likely to remain so.

I have heard that dealers are to be allocated a number of units each year and once sold they will get no more

I got 10% off a 35d specced to £54k that was ordered last month. Suspect could have pushed for more if I was taking finance. Build was originally indicated as June but has since come forward to May.

Who was that through fella? do you mind PMing me. I've been getting quotes with the usual suspects (Coast2Coast/Broadspeed etc)

If you're using finance options on new stock, there's plenty of options outside of the dealer networks that can give you around 5-6%. Magnitue have a great calculator that gives you instant quotes.
