Hi All,

I keep reading conflicting information. I believe HNBR o-rings are viton nitrile based O-rings, and therefore it is safe to use red rubber grease, which is a vegetable oil based product on them for easing installation.

Is that correct?

Also, aside from ebay/amazon, is there anywhere that supplys specific sizes (i.e not the standard kits of them), my Noble seems to have odd sizes o rings

Thanks

Matt

HNBR and Viton are not the same materials; HNBR is a nitrile rubber, Viton is a fluoropolymer.

Both have excellent resistance to vegetable oils however.
