Last year I worked for a company that converted cars for the Police and MOD. I asked this question as it has come up before and was told that it was because the car has been modified to an extent that it no longer meets EU homologation.
I have always been led to believe they are cancelled orders from countries that have emissions laws that done meet the same standard as ours. so if a war lord in Namibia cancelled his order it would be sold off for export only as it is not possible to get the emissions passed in this country.I might be wrong.

If I buy a packaged pork chop and it says it's say 400 calories, does that include the fat? And if so, and I don't eat the fat how many calories am I eating?
The calories should include all the edible parts of the packed food unless stated, it can also be quoted cooked with the method "lightly fried with visible fat removed".If it doesn't you'd have to cut off the fat weight it - it's roughly 215 cals per 100g fat removed, 250 per 100g fat left on.

Think the normal is a litre an hour so I'd just keep it running if you have a full tank, main problem would be snow covering the exhaust and finishing you off from carbon monoxide poisoning whilst you're kipping
Cheers. So I'd manage 61ish hours. I was aware of the thing about the exhaust being kept clear. Maybe I should invest in one of those flags you can get from Canada to poke through the snow to indicate a buried car... And a sleeping bag, emergency rations, boots, shovel, torch... Although as I live in seemingly the unsnowiest bit of the UK, I'll probably survive!Joshsl said:

It could be being 'held' in some form of commercial limbo to prevent the rules coming into force and the MOD footing the bill.
Noting the EU comment however I'm airing towards it being not homologated for the EU market.

I do that, not to an extent where I think the car might be buried in snow for days, but if I'm going any distance in the winter I always have a couple of sleeping bags in the car, along with some food, water, camping stove, etc. Just on the off chance that I get stuck on a motorway for hours in the freezing cold. Are there any germs on board the Space Station ? Does fresh food rot on board, do astronauts get ill ? I understand stuff may get transported to it, but with pure oxygen generators and an external vacuum, do they die when exposed to the manufactured and therefore pure internal "air" mix ?
loads of germs!

Of course there are - each astronaut/cosmonaut is full of them!ambuletz said:
Anyone here got any recent experience of how quickly a replacement driving license takes? Just did mine online doing the passport method. I know it says less than 2 weeks but I wana be sure. Will need it before the 14th dec.
Just changed addresses in mine and it was back in about 10 days. Not sure if its the same for replacing lost ones but I guess it would be?I watched a video on t'internet t'other day about a train delivering coal to Ironbridge powerstation. Said train had come from Notts I think. Sooooo how does the train navigate cross country like that? I would assume it had to cross countless sets of points and junctions, how did the all send him the right way?
